Rationale for Assessment:

The purpose of this assessment is to provide the opportunity for you to demonstrate you have achieved learning outcomes for analyze legislative financial system requirements in New Zealand businesses and not for profit organizations and design budgets. Financial plans and proposal for a health safety organization and applied health project or programmed. Assessment Guidelines and Tasks
  • Using material covered in class and reference materials, select one of the following, either a health business a not for profit organization, or a health programmed, to create a finance Project (you may use one of the business/ organization  used in Assessment One). The purpose of this project is to develop, enhance or support the effective and productive operation of a current
  • You will present your finance project as a portfolio. Your portfolio must include the following:
    • Compare and contrast the legislative financial system requirements in New Zealand for businesses and not for profit organization
    • Using your selected or health programmed creates a business plan that will meet or improve the following objectives. Aid the growth of the organization/increase profit) improve sustainability of the organization. Use the following headings to help achieve these objectives.

      • Financial plans (Business Plan, Bank Proposal)
      • Proposals (Tender)

Assessment Criteria

Have compared and contrasted legislative financial system requirements in New Zealand for business and not for profit organization
  • A detailed comparison of for major legislative financial system requirements for a NZ business not for a profit organization. A detail analyze of  why and how these compare for the different businesses end not for profit organization (up to .5 marks each of the four points raised. A further 1 mark per point for comparison between a business and not for profit organization. Possible 6 marks total)
  • A detailed account of four major differences of legislative financial requirements for a NZ business and NZ detailed not for profit organization. A detail analysis of why and how these are different for businesses and not profit organization (up to .5 marks for each of the four points raised. A further 1 mark per point for contrast between a business and not for profit organization. Possible 6 marks total)
  • Each of the comparisons and differences should address the following area in detail, employer responsibility, health and safety, confidentiality   and any other major relevant areas and the importency of these areas in the NZ health system . ma s out of a possible 3 marks are awarded for each area addressed A further 2 marks will be awarded if)
Developed a business plan with the following headings for the selected business/organizational for health programmed;

(Each area must provide a detailed explanation of function purpose and clear direction of how these will improve the  selected business/organization/health programmed. Award up to 3 marks for each section.
