Task 1
Project Plan and Project Proposal
The words limit of this assignment 1000-1200 words. You need to read all assessment items in the subject outline in order to know the big picture and sequence of tasks to be completed.
1. A project plan with project scope needs to be developed to describe the work to be done in your project.
Project Planning deals with the various sources of information that you might use and how to go about developing in a systematic and ethical way to make a Project Plan that will form the basis of managing and achieving success in your project type.
2. How well you do the initial planning for your project, will be vital to the success of the project. By using software that helps you to schedule and manage the project, you can track and check the project over time. Begin by brainstorming all the tasks that you need on a ' To Do ' list and allocate time and resources to each task. This is where the development of a Gantt chart is done by creating a Work Breakdown Structure.
3. The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Gantt chart of what is produced as the final outcome is required to be allocated at least 10 hours per week for 10 weeks from Week 3
Task 2
Assessment criteria Rubric
Create and edit a document that describes:
a. what you are to produce as the final outcome(s)
b. the Assessment Criteria and Performance Standards Rubric that will be used by your supervisor/subject coordinator to evaluate and mark your submission for Assessment Item 3 in Week 12.
c. Add both signatures and the date of the rubric.
Task 3
Weekly progress report
1. From Weeks 2 to 10 in the Schedule, you are required to Submit/Bring or Present a Weekly Progress Report on your Capstone project.
2. The Weekly Reports will follow the plan you made in Assessment Item 1
3. The format will be described by the local lecturer as student are studying in various learning modes either in weekly classes or online weekly ( Discussion Board or Project Blog) via Distance mode
Task 4
ITC570 Project Report
The value of this assessment is 100% and word limit is 10000 words.
1. From Weeks 2 to 10 in the Schedule, you are required to Submit/Bring or Present a Weekly Progress Report on your ITC570 project.
2. The Weekly Reports will follow the plan you made in Assessment Item 1
3. The format will be described by the lecturer in weekly classes.
4. Write a detailed and well researched Project Report (10,000 words) on your project type as matching the Assessment Criteria Rubric developed in the previous task.
5. This final report will build on the initial negotiated learning contract, project plan, documentation (blog) and progress report.
6. You must address the marker's comments and feedback from the other Assessment Tasks for ITC570.
